Wordpress editor not rendering the theme like how it is displayed on yotako

I used the Yotako sample theme to test out how the plugin works, and when I published it, the theme looks fine on the website. However, when I try to edit the theme on Wordpress Gutenberg, I see this instead. There is no way for me to edit the theme on Wordpress directly.
